A COUPLE were arrested yesterday as they attempted to enter South Africa with 2.5kgs of what is thought to be heroin.
Police spokesman, Major Thulani Zwane said the man and woman, both foreign nationals, were carrying a backpack with a false compartment in which the substance was discovered.
The estimated street value of the drug is R500 000.
