Justine takes gold in Beijing

ESHOWE’S golden girl, Justine Palframan has won the women’s 400m in the World Student Games being held in Gwangju, Beijing.

Justine put in this stunning performance this afternoon in the Gwangju Universiade Main Stadium.

She qualified for the final after winning her semi-final heat in 52.23 seconds.

She finished in 51.24 seconds, which improves on her previous personal best time of 51.87 and a season best of 52.23.

She beat Malgorzata Holub from Poland who finished second in a season best time of 51.93 seconds, while Huizhen Yand from People’s Republic of China finished third, in a personal best time of 51.98 seconds.
