SHARE some care in a cup and help those fighting cancer at the Cuppa for Cansa launch on Friday, 26 June at the Helen Ludwig Cansa House in Empangeni at 12noon
The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA)’s fundraising campaign is an opportunity for friends, family and work colleagues to come together and share a cuppa and help those affected by cancer.
Join in and get some great tips on how you can host your very own Cuppa for Cansa event as well as how you will be providing much needed care and support to cancer patients who stay at CANSA Care Homes while receiving treatment.
There will also be a mini Cuppa for Cansa event following the presentation.
Host an event
Between June and October, Cansa encourages everyone to host or attend a Cuppa for Cansa event or raise funds online.
A Cuppa For Cansa event can be large, small or intimate.
It is a social and fun way to support a local Cansa Care Home that provides ‘home-from-home’ accommodation to patients undergoing cancer treatment at oncology clinics far from their homes.
Guests can stay for an average of six weeks and receive home-from-home accommodation, free transport to and from cancer treatment centres as well as nutritious meals.
