They ended off the campaign with a programme at Aquadene Community Hall where Community Policing Forum representatives, social workers, medical professionals, Sukuma Sakhe and ward committee members addressed the youth and community on the harmful effects of drugs.

Ps HB Ngwira said the Seventh Day Adventist Church Youth Ministry aim to train, equip and discipline is different spheres of life and the Christian lifestyle and they shared this with the community.

‘The drug awareness campaign aims to teach our young people to say ‘no’ to what they do not know as drugs, which can come in the form of sweets, stickers and all sorts.

‘Children must say ‘no’ especially if they are not sure about something.

‘We want to challenge parents to take responsibility of their children and not leave the teaching to other people,’ he said.
