Nongoma musician up for major award
KwaNongoma gospel artist Lindo Madida nominated for Ingoma Awards.
SINGING her way to the top is Nongoma gospel artist Lindo Madida (25).
Lindo will fly the KZN flag during the Ingoma Awards in Pretoria next month.
The upcoming musician is a finalist in the Favourite Female Gospel Artist category. She was nominated for her new album titled ‘Kuwe Somandla’.
She shares the category with Patience Ntuli and Nobuhle Mbola.
The musical sensation has shared the stage with well-known artists such as Shakes noSingili, Fikile Mlomo and Thokozani Langa.
She has also worked in a movie titled Abnormal in 2014.
Her dream is to help other musicians in her area to reach their full potential.
