eNseleni’s shining stars

Busisiwe Shange received eight distinctions.

THOLOKUHLE High School in eNseleni has produced two pupils who collectively earned 15 distinctions.

Busisiwe Shange led the way with eight distinctions – IsiZulu home language, English first additional language, mathematics, life orientation, accounting, business studies, economics and tourism.

Smiso Ntuli was not far behind, earning seven distinctions – IsiZulu home language, mathematics, life orientation, electrical technology, geography, life science and physical science.

The two are plucking the fruits of their hard work and both have plans to enroll at the University of KwaZuluNatal, where Shange will register as a B Com accounting student and Ntuli for chemical engineering.

‘I would like to thank our teachers, especially our maths and accounting teachers, who have identified us from Grade 10 and gave us more work and support,’ said Ntuli.

He also advised future matriculants to work hard as it really pays off.
