Crèche graduates ready for ‘big school’

There were smiles and a few tears at the Amangwe Village Crèche’s 2014 Graduation Ceremony.

PRIDE and joy beamed from the faces of parents and guardians as they watched their little children take the next step in life at Amangwe Village Crèche’s 2014 Graduation Ceremony held in KwaMbonambi.

Steering their growth and development, Amangwe Village Manager Erna Steynberg, with the audience, watched in awe as the little ones performed their well-rehearsed orals and stage plays.

‘What you see here today is not achieved overnight. Our teachers willingly dedicate their time to providing proper education for our kids.’

‘A big thanks to each and every one of you who has played a part in making today possible,’ Steynberg said.

Having a vested interest in the lives of our future leaders, the crèche continues to provide quality care and education for children affected by issues such as poverty, HIV/Aids and unemployment.

Amangwe Village’s Vice Chairperson Jeanette Small said although most of the children come from disadvantaged backgrounds, nothing stops their hunger to learn.

‘This is evident when hearing them do their speeches, plays and songs in English.

Various Zululand corporates continue to provide financial support towards this worthy cause.
