Job done and dusted for Hume

Hume claims round 5 of the KZN X-Country Series.

CALVIN Hume got the job done and dusted at round five of the KZN X-Country Series when he took podium after a dominant display of high speeds on a dusty, up-and-down track that challenged man and machine’s abilities.

The race, which took place in Umlaas Road just outside of Pietermaritzburg, saw Hume wrap up the series title with his win on the day.

The Fast Power Sports rider lead from start to finish, completing four laps of the 23km course in an average lap time of 28 minutes.

The last series race will be held in Greytown on 9 November, where Hume just needs to finish to officially take the 2014 series title.

He will compete in the WFO Enduro event on 26 November in Matatiele.
