DICE visits Melmoth 60+ Club

'Do I Care Enough' spreads the warmth in Melmoth.

THE members of the Melmoth 60+ Club were ‘triple treated’ on Friday when they received blankets, great teas and cakes, and an impromptu music performance by Mario Engelbrecht.

Linda Zeelie of the Zululand Observers’ Do I Care Enough (DICE) spoke to the members of the club before they selected a blanket hand-made by a team of knitters and crocheters from Empangeni and Richards Bay.

They then enjoyed teas, coffee and eats supplied by Heleen Greef of the Pug And Co. Cake Cafe.

A co-incidental visit by the Engelbrecht family to the cafe and Mario being convinced to fetch his guitar, had the members tapping or singing along as he sang a few popular songs in an impromptu performance.
