Renowned St Lucia resident murdered

ST LUCIA woke up on Monday morning to the devastatingly tragic news that the well-known and much-loved Jabu Msezane was murdered in what the SAPS suspects to be a hijacking.

However, police are investigating the possibility of a robbery at the popular St Lucia Ski Boat Club.

SAPS Communications Officer, Lieutenant Mpontshane, confirmed that police officers were on the scene and a murder investigation is underway.

For St Lucians, however, the details are irrelevant as they come to terms with the loss of one of the town’s most loved citizens.

Jabu was Bar Manager at the St Lucia Ski Boat Club and recently celebrated 21 years of service at the club.
