Cold, wet Monday for Zululand region

Monday's wet weather is set to be coupled with cold temperatures as the mercury will only just creep into the teens.

IT’S set to be a cold, wet start to the week for the Zululand region.

This after the SA Weather Service issued a yellow level 2 warning for disruptive rain for KwaZulu-Natal for tomorrow (Monday).

Richards Bay can expect a high of 18 degrees C with 91% chance of rain; Empangeni 17 with 81% chance of rain; eShowe residents can brace for a high of just 13 and 91% chance of rain, while Mtubatuba and Hluhluwe can expect 18 with 58% rain and 17 with 56% rain respectively.

When on the roads, motorists are reminded to switch on headlights, reduce speed and increase following distance from the vehicle in front so as to reach your destination safely.
