It is back, the St Lucia ‘da-Car’ Rate Payers’ Association (RPA) soapbox derby fundraiser.

This time it will be hosted on Saturday, 28 September from 3pm.

Those wishing to take part have been cautioned that they will be entering the event at their own risk and that an indemnity must be signed.

The cars have to be homemade and must have more than two wheels, with functional brakes and steering. Teams can consist of a minimum of two people or a maximum of four.

Helmets are compulsory for all drivers, and the cars can be powered only by an initial push. People may enter by emailing admin@slrpf.co.za or on the day.
