WATCH: Schoolchildren injured in bus accident in Richards Bay

Three schoolchildren were injured when the bus they were travelling in veered off the road and landed in a ditch on the John Ross Highway this (Friday) morning.

According to reports at the scene, the bus driver lost control on the R34 Woodchip Glade intersection in Richards Bay.

While emergency services were quickly on the scene, traffic coming into Richards Bay was affected. The injured pupils were transported to the hospital for further treatment.
