Take action, report litter

Zululanders join the 'Tell us where the dirt is' anti-litter campaign to tackle rubbish in their areas

The change is visible as many Zululanders are joining the ‘Tell us where the dirt is’ anti-litter campaign.

With the culture of illegal dumping sites and littering a widespread problem throughout the region, environmentally conscious Zululanders are becoming part of the solution – one ward at a time.

Since the campaign was launched earlier this year, many wards have formed groups that focus on tackling rubbish in their areas.

The campaign is ongoing and more Zululanders are urged to jump on the bandwagon and alert us where the dirt is.

This programme is to identify litter-strewn areas and to encourage residents, businesses and schools to take responsibility for their litter.

It is a call for residents to take action, starting in their wards – to form dedicated groups of members who will work together towards a cleaner city.

This week, eSikhaleni residents called for action as they continue to identify litter-strewn areas within the suburb.

Be part of positive change

Email us photos of litter and/or illegal dumping sites in your area, and be sure to include the name of the affected area.

But don’t stop there, send us photos of the same areas after they have been cleaned. Email all photos and information to wellington@zob.co.za
