World champs celebrated

Zululanders share their messages of congratulations and support for the world champions

Zululanders are still basking in the glory of the Springboks’ victory over the All Blacks in the 2023 Rugby World Cup final on Saturday.

The thrilling game left thousands of supporters across the region beaming with pride and joy amid massive celebrations.

As the celebrations continue this week, with the Boks returning to parade their trophy across the country, Zululanders shared their messages of congratulations and support for the world champions:

Richards Bay resident Ivan Naidoo: “Bokke, congratulations! Colourless unity. Together we can achieve more. We can learn lessons from this on quota barriers. No cadre deployment. Best people on the field achieve victories. We can make this country work successfully if we allow all South Africans to participate. Forward…we can do it.”

Leonard Andrews: “Best feeling in the world for such a talented group of players who have revitalised a nation so in need of a positive vibe…One point is enough to seal the deal!”
