WATCH: Rhino turns vehicle over like a toy

How not to encounter a rhino - this 2019 video resurfaced online this week

A video from 2019 has resurfaced, showing what not to do when encountering a rhino.

Filmed at a safari park in Germany, the short clip shows a zebra-striped vehicle driving off the road in the safari park, straight up to a lone white rhino.

The rhino can be seen initially running away, which does not deter the safari park employee, who keeps following the animal.

The rhino then faces the vehicle, hooks its horn under the front left wheel arch, easily flipping the car over and setting in motion a series of tumbles and turns, flips and spins.

Delivering the full might of its wrath on the driver, the rhino does not hesitate to continue flipping and spinning the now seriously damaged vehicle, and then pushing it from behind – while the ostriches look on.

At the time of the incident, it was revealed that the driver of the vehicle was the zoo keeper, who sustained only minor bruises.

The rhino was reportedly still getting used to its surroundings as it had been living at the park for only 18 months.
