The South African Weather Service (SAWS) says scattered showers and thunderstorms will be experienced along the north coast and adjacent interior.
“Significant amounts of rain have fallen in some of these areas,” said SAWS.
The weather service has further warned that the wet weather conditions may lead to localised flooding.
“Avoid crossing rivers and swollen streams where water is above your ankles. Take caution when travelling on roads as potholes may be filled with water and cause sinkholes.”
