WATCH: Exhilarating penalty shoot-out at the ZO
Three finalists, who entered the ZO Soccer Shoot-out, went head-to-head in a penalty showdown earlier today (Thursday)
IT was a close call as three local soccer stars competed at the ZO Soccer Shoot-out at the Zululand Observer offices in Empangeni earlier today (Thursday).
Muzammil Hoosen, Zainub Hoosen and Julie Wright were the fierce players, who were selected from the draw after entering the ZO spot-the-ball competition.

Each finalist had five chances to score a goal, with the last round challenging the players to back-heel the ball. The fearless strikers were up for the challenge demonstrating impressive footwork from the 12-yard spot.
Here are the final results of the challenge:
1. Muzammil Hoosen aka ‘Diski’ (3 out of 5)
2. Zainub Hoosen ‘Hot Stix’ (2 out of 5)
3. Julie Wright ‘Red Alert’ (1 out of 5)
