Mass power outage affecting parts of Richards Bay
Residents should expect power restoration at midnight
ELECTRICITY is out in Meerensee, Mzingazi, the port and Small Craft Harbour owing to a major failure on the 132kv network that feeds these areas.
Power went down at about 2pm today (Monday) during the heavy downpour.

City of uMhlathuze technicians got to work assessing and addressing the fault, and have estimated that power will be restored at midnight.
Residents across the Bay experienced localised flooding, while water pooled on the John Ross.
This comes amid severe weather affecting much of KZN, with inland areas still experiencing the deluge.
