‘The decision to reopen the university campus will be announced on the university platforms.
‘As part of its commitment to ensure zero tolerance to ill-discipline, the university will also deal with perpetrators of misinformation.’
An angry mob of students protested against the lack of safety of students living off-campus.
During the protest action, the angry mob looted a tuck shop, broke windows and set a building alight. This resulted in the closure of the campus and the students being sent home.
