  • Acute Emergency Medicine Care: Management, treatment and prevention of acute emergency situations, which includes resuscitation care, exacerbation of a chronic illness, trauma, etc.
  • Specialised accident and trauma stabilisation and treatment: Resuscitation and stabilisation followed by a comprehensive examination to identify the extent of injury and suitable treatment or referral to a specialist.
  • Any after-hours (24 hour) medical care: Medical care is available 24 hours, especially the treatment and management of emergency conditions. We deliver rapid and appropriate relief of symptoms.
  • Specialised paediatric acute medical care: Treatment and management of acute medical emergencies affecting children, such as fever, breathing difficulties and feeding or swallowing issues.
  • Affiliated Workers Compensation Act and Injury on Duty (COID) 24/7: We offer our full range of services to all Injury on Duty patients who are registered with the Department of Labour.

We are active at two hospitals in the KwaZulu-Natal region, namely Netcare Alberlito in Ballito and The Bay Hospital in Richards Bay.

No referral needed. When you arrive at the unit, you will be triaged by an experienced triage officer and directed to the appropriate treatment area. Covid-19 measures are in place to ensure everyone’s safety.
