Still no landline for Richards Bay police station

The station has been without landlines for several weeks after communication lines were damaged from repeated power failures

Members of the public must continue using the Richards Bay police station’s 24-hour cell phone number as the landline remains out of order.

This after the station has been without landlines for several weeks after communication lines were damaged from repeated power failures.

The 24-hour cell phone number to be used while the landline remains out of order is 082 0505719.

Richards Bay SAPS communications officer, Captain Debbie Ferreira said the 10111 number is still in place for all emergencies.

‘Members of the public must also take note that the SMS they receive with their CAS number will also include their investigating officer’s details.

‘The landline number, however, will not be available,’ said Ferreira.
