SPCA rabies vaccination dates

All payment must be cash only. Pet licences must be renewed annually and hefty fines can be issued to those without a valid licence

RICHARDS Bay SPCA is providing free rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs, as well as issuing municipal licences. Residents must bring proof of previous sterilsation, with all dogs kept on leashes and cats in cat carriers.

Vaccination schedule
Date: Friday, 19 February:
Venue: Veld n Vlei Community Hall
Time: 12pm – 5pm

Date: Saturday, 20 February
Venue: Baptist Church, parking area, Rooibosrand Street
Time: 8am – 12pm

Date: Sunday, 21 February
Venue: Birdswood next to Woodpecker Inn at the open field on Pelican Parade Street
Time: 12pm – 5pm

Date: Monday, 22 February
Venue: Meerensee, at the the craft market area in Anglers Rod, opposite Pick n Pay
Time: 12pm – 5pm

Dog and cat licences:
Sterilised animals (with proof) licence fee: R43 per animal.
Unsterilised animals licence fee: R110 per animal.
