One dead in R34 truck and car collision
Two people were injured and one was declared deceased on scene
ONE person was killed and two others injured in an accident involving a truck and a car this (Friday) morning on the R34 near Melmoth.
According to emergency services on scene, the impact caused the car to overturn multiple times, and the truck to catch alight.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service attended the scene and found two people to have sustained injuries, ranging from minor to serious.
Tragically, a third individual had succumbed to the injuries before emergency services arrived. Patients were treated on scene before being transported to hospital.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
