Ironman 70.3 rescheduled owing to Covid-19 pandemic

Triathletes now have more time to train for Ironman event

THE Ironman 70.3 South Africa event scheduled for 24 January in Nelson Mandela Bay, has been rescheduled to 5 September owing to the limitations on indoor and outdoor gatherings, which includes the closure of beaches around the country.

In light of the new Covid-19 lockdown restrictions put in place by government, Buffalo City Municipality and event organisers decided to postpone the event.

Organisers share in the disappointment and thanked athletes for their patience and understanding through these uncertain times.

Registered participants will receive an email with further information and organisers look forward to providing athletes with an exceptional race experience in September.
