WATCH: Biker left injured in hit-and-run incident in Empangeni

A BIKER is recovering in hospital after a hit-and-run incident in Empangeni over the weekend.

A video shared on social media shows a bakkie turning into oncoming traffic at the R34/R102 intersection and hitting the biker.

The driver sped off, leaving the victim injured on the road.

The biker was taken to hospital following the incident and is said to be recovering well.

Police were unable to confirm if the driver of the bakkie has been arrested.
