OWING to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions on fund-raising events, adoptions and the reopening of their shop, the Richards Bay SPCA has found it difficult to raise enough money and has therefore compiled a wish list the organisation hopes will attract support.

Listed below are items and ways in which the public can practically assist the non-profit organisation:

* Dog and cat food (dry or tinned)
* Second-hand or new collar and leads
* Pet toys
* 20 x big plastic washbasins
* Brooms
* Scrubbing brushes
* Building equipment and materials for various projects
* Gardening equipment
* Padlocks
* Roofing material for boarding kennels and staff room
* Paint for kids area upgrade
* Photocopier paper
* Office stationery
* Washing powder
* Hand sanitiser and masks
* Fencing material to upgrade dipping area
* Razor wire for security upgrade
* Monthly funding towards vet bills

Financial donations can be deposited into the organisation’s bank account with proof of payment emailed to secretary@spcarbay.co.za.
