Bay Bricks back in business and going strong

Bay Bricks, formerly known as Met-X, is under new management

Zululand’s largest brick and block manufacturing plant is back in business.

Bay Bricks, formerly known as Met-X, is under new management and is already producing SABS standard, high strength blocks in massive quantities.

The husband and wife team of Aveer and Reshika Maharaj is the new driving force at Bay Bricks, and say they are looking forward to supplying the whole of northern KZN with the best quality blocks, bricks pavers and retainers.

Situated behind to the Lafarge Empangeni Quarry along the R102, Bay Bricks has the capacity to manufacture 20 000 best-quality blocks per day.

All products are sold at wholesale prices and deliveries are done from Stanger in the south to Pongola in the north. Bricks, blocks, pavers and retainers are all manufactured according to high standards and quality tests are regularly performed to ensure the right mixture of cement and stone is used.

With the reopening, Aveer and Reshika managed to retain their original team who has extensive knowledge in the manufacturing of concrete blocks, with most employees living near the site, making Bay Bricks a valuable employer in the area.

The Bay Bricks team invites everybody, from the individual building a family home to construction companies to put their products, prices and service to the test.
