Models support tree challenge charity drive

Models give back during Winter

PARTICIPATING in the global Winter Tree Challenge for the third consecutive year, models of Trelique Models International collected warm clothing, blankets and shoes for those in need.

Held on Friday, youngsters rallied to collect socks, scarves and warm clothing items with the support of their families, which were handed over to the Zululand Observer’s Do I Care Enough? (DICE) charity for redistribution.

The group of teenagers chose a tree along Bullion Boulevard in the Richards Bay CBD for the charity collection.

They hope to encourage others to pay it forward through random acts of kindness, helping those who have fallen on tough times.

They are also preparing to join Mandela Day activities this weekend and will again be supporting the annual Hang Out With Madiba event.
