Richards Bay Home Affairs office remains closed

The office has been disinfected and the public will be advised when it will be reopened

DEPARTMENT of Home Affairs officials in Richards Bay are currently under mandatory 14-day quarantine after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.

The office was closed last week Monday and will remain so until the quarantine period has been completed.

‘All staff members have been tested because they were in contact with the employee who tested positive,’ said Home Affairs provincial manager, Cyril Mncwabe.

‘The office has been disinfected and we will advise the public when it will be reopened.’

He advised people to visit the Empangeni office in the interim.
