Taxi overturns in Empangeni Main Road collision
Reports from the scene indicate that the taxi collided with the car before overturning
THE R34 in Empangeni, at the intersection of Main Road and the Grantham Highway, was closed earlier this afternoon (Thursday) after a major accident involving a taxi and a car.
According to sources at the scene, the taxi collided with a single motor vehicle before overturning.
Seven people were treated for mild to moderate injuries.
All services were at the scene of the accident, the cause of which will be investigated by police.
