Raising funds for SPCA woof roof

A damaged roof at the Richards Bay SPCA is in need of repair

RICHARDS Bay SPCA is raising urgent funds to repair the roof over one of its charity shops, and has asked the public to assist.

Recent strong winds and heavy rain caused the damage which led to a loss of stock and a rotting carpet.

‘Animal lovers, can you please help us with funds or corrugated iron sheets (20 at 6m),’ pleaded SPCA chairperson, Annemare Coetzee.

‘This is a desperate attempt before it rains cats and dogs again.’

For more information on the project, or to donate, contact the SPCA on 073 5514564.

Alternatively, for those wanting to donate money, this can be done by EFT: Nedbank cheque account; account name: Richards Bay SPCA; account number: 1302024825; branch code: 130230.
