VIDEO: St Lucia town disinfected to prevent Covid-19 spread

Regular sanitising operations will be carried out for the duration of the lockdown

Areas with high traffic volumes in St Lucia were on Saturday evening sanitised by members of the Ratepayers Association in a bid to prevent the spread of Covid-19 after six French tourists to the town recently tested positive.

Areas outside supermarkets, petrol stations, the taxi rank, police station and post office were all included in the disinfection drive.

Regular sanitising operations will be carried out for the duration of the lockdown.

Equipment used was donated by the ratepayers of St Lucia.
