ESKOM has just announced the possibility of load shedding tomorrow (Wednesday) after additional generating units were lost today.

The power utility said that as of 4pm, breakdowns were 10 868MW while planned maintenance was at 4 778MW.

Despite some improvements to the system, Eskom called on customers to reduce demand and use electricity wisely.
