MTE headed for KZN

MTE travelling exhibitions provides a platform for suppliers of top-of-the-line mining equipment to showcase their goods to a community hungry for the latest technology, services and information.

Mining and Technical Exhibitions is heading for KwaZulu-Natal to host a show in Richards Bay on 24 October 2019.

This show is scheduled to take place at John Ross College between 13:00 and 17:30.

MTE has been returning to Richards Bay and each time, the travelling exhibition has delivered high impact exhibitions year after year. This year is no different as MTE prepares for yet another quality showcase.

Richards Bay is well known for the Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT). This terminal is the largest coal export facility in Africa. There have been positive developments for the mining industry in Richards Bay – making the area ideal for an MTE expo.

Early this year, Rio Tinto announced that it would be developing the Zulti South project in the province. The USD463-million (Rio Tinto share is USD343-million) investment will sustain RBM’s current capacity and extend the life of mine.

The developments show that there is a lot of business potential in Richards Bay. Suppliers exhibiting at this expo would be put in a perfect position to take advantage of the many opportunities presented by the latest developments in the area. Interested suppliers can get in touch with MTE to find out how they can take advantage of this golden opportunity.

MTE expos are marketed in such a way that they attract the right type of visitors.

What’s in it for the exhibitors?

Exhibitors get to have face-to-face interactions with mine personnel, including senior management. This puts exhibitors in a perfect position to find out what the mine’s needs are and how they can assist. In addition, exhibitors are also able to showcase their offerings to the correct personnel.

Apart from establishing a new client base, exhibitors will also meet existing clients — enabling exhibitors to find out how products or services can help them with any problems they may have.

What about the visitors?

Visitors can visit many suppliers in a single location. The MTE team customises the exhibitions to ensure that the shows cater to the needs of the surrounding operations. Another exciting value-add for visitors is that they get front row seats to the latest technology and innovation — including demos — in relevant fields.

Ultimately this MTE show will benefit both exhibitors and visitors because buyer and supplier will conveniently be brought together in a mutual location. This creates endless opportunities for business to be generated and potentially fruitful relationships to be established.

MTE travelling exhibitions has – for over two decades – hosted these unique expos around southern Africa for suppliers of top-of-the-line mining equipment to showcase their goods to a community hungry for the latest technology, services and information.
