Veldenvlei schoolboy molester pleads guilty

He faces eight counts and is believed to have inappropriately touched and fondled at least seven boys at the school

A FORMER support staff employee at Veldenvlei Primary School, James Millin, pleaded guilty in the Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday to multiple counts of sexual assault on several schoolboys.

He faces eight counts and is believed to have inappropriately touched and fondled at least seven boys at the school.

His bail was revoked and he will be kept in custody until sentencing takes place on 13 June.

According to reports, Millin was appointed by the School Governing Body as a support staff employee to teach computer classes.

The allegations surfaced last year after a learner in the Junior Phase at the school informed a member of school management of the misconduct.
