Rabies vaccination clinics

It is a legal requirement for all pets to be vaccinated against rabies

THE Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will be holding rabies vaccination clinics in Gingindlovu and Mtunzini tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday respectively.

The team will be at the Amatikulu Sugar Mill from 7am to 9am, Gingindlovu Post Office from 9.30am to noon and at the Naickerville bus stop from 12.30pm until 4pm.

There will be one vaccination station in Mtunzini at the uMlalazi municipal offices from 8am until 4pm.

Pet owners are reminded that it is a legal requirement that dogs and cats are vaccinated against rabies.

Should your pet be bitten by a rabid animal, and you cannot prove it is vaccinated, it will be euthanised.
