Robber kills Hlobane farmer’s noisy dog

A FARMER’s dog was shot dead by unknown suspects during a robbery attempt at a farm in Hlobane on Tuesday morning.

According to a police report, an 84-year-old woman was busy cooking jam outside her kitchen when she heard her dogs barking.

Three men approached demanding cellphones and cash, but she told them she had nothing.

One of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot and killed one of the dogs, after which the robbers left empty-handed.
