Richards Bay’s highly anticipated Dolos Festival takes place this coming weekend, from 21 to 23 September.
This year’s festival venue is again at the open field across from Zululand Multisports Club near Alkantstrand.
Big names such as Snotkop, Theuns Jordaan, Fatman, Elizma Theron and Riana Nel will grace the stage throughout the weekend.
BROWSE ARTISTS:
Take the whole family and enjoy great music, good food, fun activities, interesting competitions, a bit of sport and even some retail therapy.
BROWSE ACTIVITIES:
Saturday’s Parkrun at 8am forms part of the Dolos Festival.
There will also be some horse riding on the beach between 8am and 10am on both the Saturday and Sunday.
Miss Dolosfees will be crowned on Saturday, and local artists will battle it out in Zululand’s Got Talent.
Enjoy the jumping castles, browse the large variety of stalls or grab something to eat at the Food court.
Visit the Business Hub tent and Art tent, and take the kids to the Kids’ tent, where they will be kept busy.
Make sure they don’t miss the Rooikappie Lei Wolf na Jesus theatre piece on Saturday morning.
Parents who need a break can make use of the babysitting facilities.
