Boy (12) vanishes on long-haul taxi trip

SAPS launch provincial appeal for information: Can you help?

POLICE in Kokstad have launched a provincial and national appeal for information which may assist them in finding a young boy who vanished while traveling from Lisiskisiki to Kokstad by taxi.

Detective Captain Tshangase of the Kokstad FCS Unit says that Ovayo Ntsunguzi (12) was last seen when he was put onto a long-haul taxi in the Eastern Cape by his aunt, on 16 July.

He was traveling to his mother’s home in Kokstad.

‘He didn’t arrive,’ said Det Captain Tshangase.

‘He was wearing a black track top, grey track pants, a blue t-shirt and white tekkies,’ he said.

Ovayo is around 1.2m tall, and is dark in complexion.

Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to urgently contact Tshangase on 082 3348610 or 039 727 6300 or 039 797 1123.
