Plucky Picton leads Felixton’s ferocious victory charge
FC takes home their first Spar KZN Girls Regional Hockey title
FELIXTON College’s Josie Picton rewrote the history books for her team, scoring two goals to give them their first Spar KZN Girls Regional Hockey title.
They beat host school Grantleigh 2-0 in the finals on Saturday.
The 8th annual tournament saw six local schools competing for a spot in the grand finals to take place at St Mary’s DSG in Kloof from 21-22 July.
Empangeni High School went into the tournament with four previous wins and Grantleigh with three, but they had to settle for third and second places respectively.
