Hluhluwe highway heist at Petroport

According to KwaMsane police spokesperson, Captain Jabulani Mdletshe, at least 10 men, all armed with AK47 rifles and wearing balaclavas and gloves stormed the filling station at about 2:45am

A WELL thought out armed robbery and cash heist involving some ten AK47-wielding perpetrators took place in the early hours of Friday morning at the Petroport N2 in Hluhluwe.

The Durban Organised Crime Unit has been tasked with investigating the incident in which an undisclosed amount of cash was taken after the safe in the filling station was blown up using explosives.
