Richards Bay FC fail to gain home points

The score line does not reflect the hard work put in by the home boys and the chances they created

HOPING to add three more points to their log tally, NRB started brilliantly but eventually went down 4-2 to Jomo Cosmos at the uMhlathuze Stadium this afternoon.

They were first to score through a superb Thabiso Nkoana strike but then conceded two soft goals to be down 2-1 at the break.

Stanley Muishond restored parity with a stunning free kick after the resumption but the sending off of Thabo Ralebakeng opened wide gaps on the field and the visitors pounced twice late in the game to deserve the win.

Richards Bay will travel to bottom side Mthatha Bucks next Sunday and will be confident of bringing back three points.
