A SUSPECT, accused for the murder of Empangeni Public Order Policing (POP) officer, Constable Musa Mdlalose (30) in August last year, appeared in the Ngwelzane Court on Tuesday.
The accused, whose identity is known to the ZO but will not be revealed given the sensitive nature of investigations at this time, will again appear at the Ngwelezane District Court on 4 April after the matter was postponed for formal bail application – which the state will oppose.

The accused is facing charges of murder after Constable Mdlalose was shot at least eight times in a hijacking incident at his home at Umhlanga Reserve near Ngwelezana.
