Student protest halts operations at Unizulu
Protests this morning eventually saw lectures grinding to a halt
All operations were suspended at the University of Zululand’s KwaDlangezwa campus this afternoon.
Lectures were initially disturbed in the morning by a student protest, reportedly over unpaid food and transport allowances.

No injuries or violent incidents were reported, and the situation was calmed down after the SRC addressed the students.
Full operations were, however, suspended in the early afternoon.
