Extreme weather warning

These areas are affected

THE South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued out an extreme weather warning for parts of the region.

Heavy rain – leading to localised flooding is expected over parts of uPhongolo, Nongoma, uMkhanyakude, uMhlathuze and uMfolozi areas from 1pm today until tomorrow morning.

Average temperatures have been coming down over the past week in the build- up to the low temperatures and rain.

Goedertrouw and Pongolapoort Dams remains dangerously low at 35.1% and 36.3% respectively.

Meanwhile Hluhluwe is currently at 62.1% and Klipfontein at a brimming 97.4%.
