WATCH: Passenger liner cruises into Port of Richards Bay

She is one of many passenger liners to bring visitors to our shores this festive season

MV Silver Spirit was caught on camera pulling into the Port of Richards Bay early yesterday (Friday) morning.

She is one of many passenger liners bringing visitors, both local and international, to our shores this festive, and summer, season.

A fleeting visit, Silver Spirit leaves the Port of Richards Bay today (Saturday) and will head to Cape Town, stopping at Durban and Port Elizabeth en route.

She will make more stops in Richards Bay next month.

The next vessel to dock in the Bay is Boudicca, on 5, 16 and 30 January, with Ms Europa 2 scheduled to be the first liner to put in an appearance in February.

The remainder of the 2017/18 passenger liner season is a busy one and will see such vessels as Insignia, Le Lyrial and Seven Seas Navigator grace our shores between now and the end of April.
