Bodies of two drown victims recovered

The body of a 50-year-old and unknown 30-year-old male were recovered at the weekend

THE bodies of two people were recovered at the weekend by Empangeni Search and Rescue and the K9/Dive Unit.

According to reports the body of a 50-year-old male was recovered in the Mlalazi River, near Mtunzini, on Saturday.

Reports indicate the man had been missing since Monday last week and that he suffered from epileptic fits.

Meanwhile the body of an unknown male was spotted by community members in a river in the Monzi area.

Empangeni Search and Rescue and the K9/Dive Unit responded to the call on Sunday evening and recovered the body of the man, who is believed to be in this thirties.
