NO arrests have been made after a newborn baby was discovered after being dumped in a dustbin at a Richards Bay complex earlier this week.
Richards Bay SAPS Communications Officer, Captain Debbie Ferreira confirmed police were following up on information but have not made any arrests.
The baby boy, left in the dustbin at Hadeda Park was discovered by a garden services employee on Monday at about 8.40am.
Residents who responded to her cries for help were shocked and disturbed at the tragic incident.
Police are investigating a case of concealment of birth with the possibility of additional charges being brought against the perpetrator.
