NRB play to brave 1-1 draw in NFD opener

PLAYING with 10 men for the last quarter of the match following a serious injury after all their substitutions had been made, Richards Bay FC battled gamely to draw 1-1with Real Kings in their opening NFD fixture.

But they came out inspired for the second stanza and with both sides showing plenty of endeavour it was the Natal Rich Boyz who made sure of sharing the spoils when Lebogang Sentsho completed a superb string of passes by tucking the ball in the back of the net.

The result says much about the NRB side’s mental strength and fans should be in for a great ride in this their maiden NFD season.
